By making a purchase through orvilles.com you agree to the following terms and conditions (scroll down please):

With regard to Credit Card Processing:


Orville's currently uses Authorize.Net to process secure online credit card transactions. Your credit card is charged when you submit your order and receive the confirmation screen with your order number. In the case of special order merchandise your card will be charged a NON-REFUNDABLE amount equal to 50% of the product's purchase price upon submittal of your order. The balance will be processed on delivery of the item(s). For products that are normally stocked but temporarily out of stock when you place your order you may request to only leave a 20% deposit on your order until the merchandise is delivered. 

With regard to Delivery:

General Information
  • Arrival of Delivery Team:
    Due to traffic conditions, weather conditions, and routing we cannot predict your exact delivery time. Our delivery team will contact you on the morning of delivery between 7AM and 8AM to provide you with a 2 hour time window to expect delivery. If requested we will call you up to 1 hour prior to the delivery team's arrival. Please provide a secondary phone number where you may be contacted if necessary. 
  • Leveling:
    Our delivery team will level your new appliance to the existing floor surface, however, they will not place blocks, shims, etc. under the wheels or feet of any appliance in order to achieve a leveled appliance. 
  • Empty Boxes & Packing Material:
    Will be left on the premises after delivery. You, the customer, are responsible for the removal & disposal of all packing material and boxes. 
  • Payment on Delivery:
    COD's are accepted at the time of delivery in the form of CASH or CREDIT CARD. If paying by cash please have exact change. Our Delivery Team will be unable to make change for you. 
Customer Responsibility 
  • Path of Delivery:
    Please make sure that the route to the location of the new appliance is clear of all obstructions which could impede the delivery team or cause injury. This includes clearing the driveway and entrance to your home of moving/building/remodeling debris, ice, snow, mud, furniture, etc. 
  • Alterations to Your Home:
    Removing door jambs, door casings, molding, railings, etc. required to clear the Path of Delivery must be completed before the arrival of our delivery team. The team is not permitted to alter your home in any way. Please do not ask them to.
    EXCEPTION: If necessary, our delivery team will remove standard doors to accommodate the new appliance.
Old Appliance Removal / Relocation 
  • Our delivery team will remove and haul away from your home your old appliance(s) on a one-for-one basis. (i.e. new washer, old washer. NOT new washer, old freezer) OR upon request we will relocate your old appliance to another part of your home. Our delivery team WILL NOT transport your old appliance to another address different from your delivery address.
  • Old appliances will not be disassembled nor will alterations be made to your home in order to remove an old appliance. 
  • The delivery team will not reconnect old appliances when relocating them on your premises. 
  • Refrigerator or Freezer Removal:
    Please remove any food. It is not necessary to defrost but is appreciated. Do not unplug or shut off the old unit. If the unit is connected to an existing water line it must be disconnected prior to delivery. 
  • Dryer Removal:
    Please remove all laundry from old machine. 
  • Clothes Washer Removal:
    Please remove any water and/or laundry from the machine. 
  • Dishwasher Removal:
    Unit must be disconnected and removed from under the counter.
Built-In Appliances
  • The following appliances and/or services are considered "Built-In" and will not be Installed or Connected by our delivery team. Arrangements can be made for Professional Installation through our Installation Department for an additional charge.

Ranges
  • Electric Ranges:
    The manufacturer does not provide a new 220V electrical cord with new electric ranges. If you purchase a new appropriate cord at the point of sale our delivery team will attach the new cord, plug it in to an appropriate accessible 220V outlet, set the range in place, and level the range to the existing floor surface.
    Our delivery team will not "HARD WIRE" an electric range or use an old cord to install the new range. Please do not ask them to do so. 
  • Gas Ranges:
    The manufacturer does not provide a new flexible gas connector with new gas ranges. If you purchase a new appropriate connector at the point of sale our delivery team will attach one end of the connector to the range and the other end to your rigid black steel supply pipe, check for leaks, plug in the 110V cord to an appropriate accessible grounded outlet, set the range in place, and level it to the existing floor surface.
    Our delivery team will not reconnect a new gas range to copper or aluminum gas supply lines nor will we connect a new gas range to an existing gas supply line without a shut-off valve or reconnect a new gas range using an old previously used flexible connector. Please do not ask them to do so. 
Refrigerators & Freezers 
  • Our delivery team will set your new refrigerator or freezer in place, plug it in to an appropriate accessible grounded 110V outlet, level it to the existing floor surface, and set the controls. The new unit will take approximately 1 hour to get cold and up to 24 hours to reach the set operating temperature. 
  • Door Reversals:
    If requested at time of sale the door swing on your new top or bottom mount refrigerator will be reversed by our delivery team free of charge. If you require a door reversal after your delivery day a service technician will be dispatched for an additional charge.
Laundry 
  • Washers:
    Orville's delivery team will set your new washer in place, connect the new hoses to your existing hot and cold water supply faucets, hang the drain hose on your washtub, and level the machine to your existing floor surface. Wood pallets and cement blocks are not suitable surfaces for proper performance of your machine.
    During outside temperatures freezing or below an 8 hour "warm up" period is required before the first use of your new washer. 
  • Electric Dryers:
    The manufacturer does not provide a new 220V electrical cord with new electric dryers. If you purchase a new appropriate cord at the point of sale our delivery team will attach the new cord, plug it in to an appropriate accessible 220V outlet, set the dryer in place, and level the dryer to the existing floor surface.

  • Gas Dryers:

  • Dryer Venting:
    Our delivery team will reconnect your existing venting to the new dryer provided the venting is of adequate length & diameter and lint-free. New venting is available for purchase at time of sale as well as by the delivery team at time of delivery. 
Disclaimer 
  • Even though extreme care is taken during the removal of your old appliance(s) Orville's cannot be held responsible for damage to old appliance(s) or damage to your home during the removal of old appliance(s). 

With regard to Customer Pick Up:
  • Merchandise is available for pick up during normal business hours:
    Monday-Friday: 8AM to 9PM
    Saturday: 8AM to 6PM
    Sunday: 11AM to 5PM 
  • Please provide a copy of your sales invoice when you pick up your merchandise. 
  • Please bring a vehicle capable of transporting your merchandise safely. Orville's will not tie any merchandise to the outside of your vehicle for transport purposes. 
  • Please inspect all merchandise for physical damage before leaving the pick up location. Orville's will not be held responsible for damage discovered after you have left our facility. 

With regard to Inventory Availability: 
  • Customers placing orders online will be contacted within 24 hours for orders placed Sunday thru Thursday and on the following Monday for orders placed Friday or Saturday to verify inventory and schedule a delivery or customer pick up date. 
  • Loaner Appliances:
    A loaner appliance may be offered to customers who order an out of stock appliance and are willing to wait for it to arrive but REQUIRE a useable appliance until their new one arrives. Product categories covered by loaners are Refrigerators and Free Standing Ranges. The loaner product supplied will be a functional apartment size model, 10-15 cu.ft. refrigerator or a 20" free standing range. If a loaner is necessary the details will be discussed during your follow up inventory verification call after you place your order. 

With regard to Half Price and Closeout Merchandise: 
  • All purchases of closeout or half price merchandise must be picked up or delivered within 7 days of purchase. Any order not picked up or delivered within 7 days will be cancelled and refunded. 
  • In the event that a closeout or half price item is damaged or defective and cannot be repaired to the customer's satisfaction Orville's will refund the original purchase price. Under no circumstances will Orville's replace the item with a new, boxed, regular price item. 

With regard to Returns or Exchanges:
Returns:
  • Returns of any kind will be handled on a case by case basis. Returned items may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. 
  • Any unopened and unused product may be returned for a full refund or exchanged as long as you have requested and received a return authorization. 
  • Any item returned to us without prior authorization will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. 
Exchanges: 
  • We will be happy to authorize a return for an exchange on any product as long as it can be restocked or returned to the manufacturer for reimbursement. 
If You are Dissatisfied with Your Product:
  • Products that are not defective but not to the customer's liking may be returned for store credit or exchanged within 7 days of taking delivery as long as the merchandise is in new, unused condition. 
  • The item cannot be stained or scratched and must include all instruction manuals and documentation that was shipped with the product. 
  • The product and packaging must be in the exact same condition as when it was received by you. 
If You Receive a Defective Item:
  • All merchandise sold by Orville's Home Appliances is covered by a Manufacturer parts & labor warranty and/or a Maytag Dependability Plus extended service contract if purchased. 
  • If the item is found to be defective after delivery our Service Department will provide factory authorized service to correct the problem. 
  • All warranties are between the manufacturer or service plan administrator and the end user customer. Orville's Home Appliances does not make any expressed or implied warranties. 
  • Refunds or Exchanges on defective products will be handled on a case by case basis and will not be processed without Manufacturer authorization. 
  • Please review your warranty immediately upon receipt of your merchandise.
Built In Appliances & Special Order Merchandise:
  • Any appliances not listed in our online store as well as most built in appliances such as cooktops, wall ovens, hoods, etc., are considered special order items. Some of these are custom made to order. This merchandise is considered returnable on a per case basis. 
  • Returned items may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. 
  • All returns must be returned in the original factory packaging and must receive prior authorization as described above. 
  • In the case of hidden factory damage or defect, Orville's will assist you in every reasonable way in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty to resolve the problem.
