Professional Installation
Orville's is pleased to offer our customers professional re-installation of replacement appliances. Our installers are factory trained and certified to install 6 days a week.
Not sure if your appliance will fit? We offer a $100 site evaluation before you make your purchase. Our team will visit your home to ensure your new appliance fits perfectly!
Installation is available to customers residing within Zone 1 of our Western New York Delivery Area. Your available options will be shown under the “You Might Also Need” section on the product page. If you live outside of Zone 1, please call for pricing.
Disclaimer: Orville's will not complete any installation that requires alterations to your circuit/fuse box. This may be required for any "NEW" installation because most appliances are required to have their own dedicated circuit.

Haul Away
You can trust us to safely remove your old unit when we deliver a new one in your home. Then we will make sure it is properly and safely recycled in an effort to conserve environmental waste.
Delivery & installation FAQs
Does Orville’s hook up my new appliance when it’s delivered?
Yes, our delivery team hooks up most free-standing appliances as part of your delivery, so your new refrigerator, range, washer, or dryer is ready to use right away. Some appliances need extra accessories, like a water line, power cord, or gas connector, to finish the hookup, and we’ll flag anything additional at the time of sale or during your order verification call. For jobs that need more involved work, our factory-trained technicians also offer full professional installation six days a week.
Who installs my new appliances at Orville’s?
Our own factory-trained and certified installers handle every professional installation, working six days a week to get your new appliance set up correctly the first time. Because our technicians train directly on the brands we sell, they know how to properly connect, level, and test each appliance before leaving your home. If a job calls for anything beyond a standard hookup, such as rerouting a vent or adding a water line, our team will explain exactly what it needs before work begins.
What is the $100 site evaluation for installation?
The $100 site evaluation is an optional visit our team makes to your home before you buy, to confirm your new appliance will actually fit through your doorways, hallways, and into its intended space. It’s especially useful if you’re unsure whether a larger refrigerator, range, or laundry pair will clear a tight stairwell or narrow doorframe. Scheduling this evaluation before you purchase can help you avoid a surprise on delivery day, when a poor fit means the appliance has to go back.
What is Orville’s Zone 1 delivery area?
Zone 1 is the part of our Western New York delivery area where we offer professional installation along with delivery. If you live within Zone 1, your available delivery and installation options will show up under the “You Might Also Need” section on the product page when you shop. If your address falls outside Zone 1, we can often still help, but you’ll need to contact us directly for delivery and installation pricing.
Will Orville’s install an appliance that needs electrical or plumbing changes?
We’re happy to complete most standard installations, but we won’t complete any installation that requires alterations to your home’s circuit breaker or fuse box. This most often comes up with new installations, since many appliances need their own dedicated circuit that an older home may not already have in place. If your installation needs electrical work done first, you’ll want a licensed electrician to handle it before our team can complete your delivery and installation.
Does Orville’s haul away my old appliance?
Yes, when we deliver your new appliance, our team safely removes your old unit from your home at the same time, so you don’t have to handle it yourself. From there, we make sure your old appliance is properly and safely recycled rather than sent straight to a landfill, helping cut down on environmental waste. Haul away is one of the reasons customers choose to have Orville’s handle delivery and installation together instead of dealing with the old appliance separately.
Can I track my delivery in real time?
Yes, on the day of your scheduled delivery, service, or installation, you can track your appointment in real time by entering the invoice number or phone number tied to your purchase. Live tracking becomes available starting at 8:00 AM on your appointment day, so you can watch for updates as our team gets closer instead of waiting around without any information. This makes it easier to plan the rest of your day around your delivery or installation window.
What time will my delivery or installation arrive?
We can’t promise an exact time, since the number of stops on our trucks and the size of our delivery area both affect how the day unfolds. Instead, you’ll get an automated notification on the morning of your appointment with your approximate arrival window, and you can check our real-time tracking tool for the latest update. If you need a status check partway through the day, you’re welcome to call our team directly for an updated arrival time.
What happens if my new appliance is damaged during delivery?
If your new appliance arrives damaged, our delivery team contacts their supervisor on the spot to work out the best resolution for you. Depending on the situation, that can mean a price adjustment for the damage, a refund of your delivery or installation fee, a free extended service plan, a repair of the affected part, or a full replacement with an undamaged unit. We ask that any cosmetic damage be reported within 48 hours of taking possession so we can make it right.
Can I protect my appliance with a service plan after installation?
Yes, our Preferred Service Plan, provided through New Leaf, extends your coverage for up to 5 years after your factory warranty ends, with no added cost for covered repairs and no hidden charges or deductibles. It covers genuine factory replacement parts and manufacturer-authorized, factory-trained service, along with extras like food spoilage protection and power surge protection. Adding a plan when you purchase your appliance is an easy way to protect your investment well beyond your installation date.
