GE 27.8 cu.ft. french-door refrigerator is equipped with an external water and ice dispensing system. This model also features Showcase LED lighting, TwinChill™ evaporators and Turbo Cool and Turbo Freeze settings.

TWINCHILL™ EVAPORATORS
Dual evaporators maintain separate environments in both the fresh food and freezer compartments to manage temperature and humidity levels and keep foods fresh. Cold, dry air stays in the freezer compartment to prevent freezer burn, and more humid air stays in the fresh food section to keep fresh food fresh longer.
SHOWCASE LED LIGHTING
Positioned throughout the interior and under fresh food doors to spotlight foods inside the refrigerator and in the freezer.

Designed to be accessible and easy to open.
TURBO COOL™ SETTING
The TurboCool™ setting "revs up" the refrigerator, cooling it quickly after frequent or extended door openings and also when hot items are placed inside.
When this feature is selected, the compressor is activated and the fans turn on at high speed. even when the door is open. The fresh food temperature will revert to the coldest setting for an 8 hour period or until TurboCool is turned off (whichever comes first). It maximizes the cooling ability of the fresh food compartment.
To turn the feature on or off, press and hold the Fridge pad for 3 seconds. On models with a touch screen (LCD) display, press Express Mode.
TURBO FREEZE™ SETTINGS
The Turbo Freeze setting "revs up" the freezer compartment, cooling it quickly after frequent or extended door openings.
When this feature is selected, the compressor is activated and the freezer fan turns on at high speed, even when the door is open. The freezer temperature will revert to the coldest setting for a 2 1/2 hours period or until TurboFreeze is turned off (whichever comes first). It maximizes the cooling ability of the freezer compartment. The TurboFreeze and TurboCool can be run at the same time.
To turn the feature on or off, press and hold the Freezer pad for 3 seconds. On models with a touchscreen (LCD) display, press Express Mode.
SPACE-SAVING ICEMAKER
Located on the door with integrated bins to create more usable storage space.
SECOND ICEMAKER OPTION
Always have extra ice on hand with an optional second icemaker in the freezer (IM5D kit sold separately)
ADVANCED WATER FILTRATION USES RPWFE REPLACEMENT FILTER
Reduces trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice* (* Removes 98% of ibuprofen, atenolol, fluoxetine, progesterone and trimethoprim. These pharmaceuticals are not necessarily in all users’ water)
